Esther's Bourbon Balls
3 c. vanilla wafers 1/2 c. ground pecans 3 tbsp. cocoa 1 c. confectioner's sugar 4 tbsp. light corn syrup 1/3 c. bourbon (or rum) confectioner's sugar
Pulverize vanilla wafers in a blender and set aside. Chop pecans in blender in blender. Combine cookie crumbs and nuts with other dry ingredients. Combine liquor and syrup, and drizzle into dry mixture, stirring to combine. Roll into balls (if cookies do not hold together, add a few more drops of liquor). Roll in powdered sugar. Store in airtight container.
