Mom's Sambousek

2# beef or 30oz (3 packs) frozen spinach 375 degree oven
3 cups chopped onions 10 minutes
some butter
2-3 Tbs cumin
salt and pepper
4-8 Tbs tahini
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 truckload of them pop-n-fresh biscuits in the tube, found in the refrigerator section of the grocery store (10 or more)
pignolis

Chop up them onions. Sweat them in some butter in a large pan, without browning.
Add the beef or spinach. Cook the beef, heat the spinach.
Add the cumin (the more the better), salt and pepper, tahini.
Mix
When mostly dry, add the lemon juice.
Now you have filling - set it aside.

Pop open the pop-n-fresh.
Smash the biscuits onto a cookie sheet, and top with filling.
Sprinkle a few pignolis on top.
Into the oven, about 10 minutes.

Watch 'em. The difference between not done and burnt is about 30 seconds.
You want them brown on the bottom, and lightly brown on the top.

Note, that I try to bake a few degrees (25-50) cooler than recommened on the tube.

I also try to bake a few minutes shorter, then check.

Chew.
